In London, with pictures!

I have finally posted and captioned my pictures of the trip so far. They can be found at:

All of them are captioned, and more will follow, but probably not for a few weeks.

London has been nice and relaxing so far. I have been here before and done most of the touristy stuff so I am mostly just hanging out at Brian's uncle's house. Yesterday Brian and his coworker Vinny came over from the US. Vinny will be here for a few days and Brian is staying for a little more than a week. Today we walked around downtown London, Trafalgar square area. We almost went on the London Eye, but it's really expensive ($31!!). We had lunch in Chinatown, but ended up not going to a very good place (avoid Cafe Hong Kong). We then saw the matinee fo Avenue Q, which we all thought was hilarious! It's been called Sesame Street for adults, but honestly it's really hard to describe. There are puppets though!

Not much else to report. We leave for Stonehenge in 2 days, so more news after that.

I am supremely jealous that you saw Avenue Q! No one will take me here! :(

And bad Chinese food in China Town? Is that allowed to happen?!

Cheerio!

We were on the fringes of Chinatown...so I think we went to the tourist trap place. Booooo. ALSO, I forget to write about the WONDERFUL time I had at customs. I am apparently a huge threat to the UK. The guy at customs asked me questions for about 20 minutes and wrote down all my answers on a 5 by 7 card that he filled up with teeny tiny handwriting. It was kind of ridiculous.

Okay, this is the Alex from Maryland with the cute Russo-African niece, right? I think I go the right blog this time.

It sounds like you are having a blast! I wish I were there. I'm so glad you got to the Rodin Museum --it's my favorite.

We spent the last four days at the the Still Point Cabin in West Virginia (well, your dad came for one overnight). I'll post a link to those photos soon. The baby is in some of them. By the time you get home, the baby will be ready to talk!

It wasn't $31! It was 31 POUND (I don't know how to do the pound symbol). That's ~$65!

And it was my bad for that chinese restaurant :(

Once we saw that they serve SPAGHETTI and PIZZA on the menu, we shoulda just have high tailed it outta there!
